Winter is the season of the water element, which governs willpower.
Spring is the season of the wood element which governs planning and execution of plans.
So as winter turns to spring, the water and wood elements can work in harmony to help turn goals into accomplishments.
Acupuncture helps fortify and balance the body internally and with nature and so can help bolster the willpower, planning and execution of new beginnings.
But remember, it’s also important to not be too hard on oneself. When needs be, focus on the little wins rather than the losses. Thinking, “I got active twice this week” rather than “I didn’t get out three times this week” will have a much better long-term effect.
